March 2023 - Blue Mountain

A late Christmas gift for the family, we took a weekend to visit Blue Mountain and Collingwood, seeing the village, slopes and enjoying some time together in a airbnb. The main attraction of the trip was our visit to the Scandinavian Spa where we could unwind and relax to our maximum potential.

The Marmora Mine
They started mining here in 1821 and This was Upper Canada's First Mine. The Mine in This Photo opened in 1955 and Closed in 1979. In that time it mined 1.3 million tons of Iron Ore. Its amazing how big it is in person.
