What we’ve been up to and the revamped website

We have been hanging around in Alder Grove, British Columbia, after saying goodbye to lots of good friends on Vancouver Island

Some point on Vancouver Island just south of Campbell River is one of our favourite places. A nice ferry ride on a beautiful day made our departure fun.

Last fall, we pre-booked a trip to Southwest Washington state on the Oregon border. After settling into Aldergrove for a couple days, we crossed the border and headed to South Washington, which is a really beautiful part of the Western United States. The Evergreen Airplane Museum, The Portland, Saturday Market and Vancouver Washington as well as Mount St Helens are some of the really nice places we got to visit. 😁

After our trip to the US, I had to make a very quick trip to Toronto for some appointments and I got to go out with the boys for Hot Pot which I must say was an interesting evening. Nice view of the country, flying there and back.

Upon my return to the Vancouver area, we spent Sunday at Stanley Park, which is always a beautiful experience

Very close to us was Fort Langley, which is a really cool area of shops and restaurants and we went a couple of times and really enjoyed our visits there

Of course, no visitors complete without having a chance to see some old friends, including Iona and Andre, Levio and Gabby and Rob and Sue. And of course you can never count out uncle Bob. 😁

As I write this, we are starting our journey east back to Ontario, which will take us the majority of the summer as we’re not really in that much of a hurry. A drive up the mountains put us in Kamloops for a couple of nights before we move on.

Myself and Dominic have spent some time revamping the website with interactive maps and links to a lot of the places we visited in the last over a year and we hope you all find it interesting

Thanks for following along.

It great knowing we have some people who enjoy what we’re doing

Until next time, cheers 😁
