We decamped from South Winnipeg and headed off in the direction of Oak Lake Resort which is Southwest of Brandon Manitoba. Looking at the map, we decided to take one of the roads least travelled called Highway 2
While it was a very interesting drive and we saw some pretty cool things. The road needed some work, which caused us some delay. The road we took to get back to Highway 1 was even worse and at some point I was doing about 10 km an hour. šµ
Oak Lake Resort I guess you could call it a resort because I had a Marina and had a Golf Course , but it really wasnāt up to our resort standards. That being said, it was extremely peaceful extremely quiet lots of birds and wildlife. We had no Internet to speak of just enough to get a couple of emails in and out and we couldnāt even watch the German Soccer Game. We did solve that problem by having lunch at the local Golf Course and a couple of beers š¤
After the experience with the roads lesser travelled when we left Oak Lake we headed directly to the TransCanada Highway 1 for the drive to Regina Saskatchewan. Itās an extremely flat straight and nice road with two lanes, lots of room for trucks to pass me. We enjoyed it. š
We are now camped in Regina, living like people who arenāt camping going to the odd restaurant and checking out the city and some of the museums
Thanks for following along and I hope everybodyās enjoying it as much as we are having fun putting it together.
Cheers until next time š

Glad your enjoying the open road. Your making Canada seem so big as we are traveling in Europe atthe moment and I couldn't amagine driving your motor home in these cities. Keep up with the stories and pictures it's great to see and hear about your adventures.

Oh yes, and how fun it is! The extensive and interesting information from each stop is great. You may be far away, but I feel so close to you. Thank you very much for that!
